Questions

Before you call

Is the price from the estimator my final price?

No. It's a ballpark based on the square footage and condition you enter. Your actual price comes after a free on-site visit, where we check the concrete, moisture and repairs needed.

Why do you grind the floor instead of acid etching?

Grinding opens the concrete to a CSP 3 profile, a texture close to medium-grit sandpaper, so the coating grips the slab mechanically. Acid etching is less consistent and is a common reason DIY and budget coatings peel.

My concrete has cracks, holes or moisture. Can it still be coated?

Usually, yes. We repair cracks and holes before coating so the finish comes out as seamless as possible, and we prime with an epoxy moisture vapor barrier to keep moisture in the slab from lifting the coating.

Will the floor be slippery?

You have options. Flake floors have natural texture, silica sand and quartz broadcasts add real grip, and on metallic floors a matte urethane topcoat with aluminum oxide is much more slip resistant than high gloss.

Can you coat over a wood subfloor?

Yes, with our flake system. Wood is more porous than concrete, so it takes extra material, which puts it closer to $8.50 per sq ft.

How long does installation take?

Most residential garages and basements take one to two days. Commercial timelines depend on size and system, and we'll lay out the schedule, including when you can walk and park on the floor, at your estimate.

Where do you work?

We're based in Little Ferry, NJ and install floors for homes and businesses throughout New Jersey and New York.
